Notes Developer

We are looking to hire seasoned Lotus Notes/Domino developers, preferably with strong web development skills. As the ideal candidate you will have the ability to architect and develop enterprise-level Domino applications accessible from either a web browser or the Lotus Notes client. You will be responsible for advanced form and view development; programming in LotusScript, Lotus formula language, JavaScript, and HTML; comprehensive application testing; project documentation; application deployment; and end user support.

Candidates should have professional business, government, or academic experience, excellent communication skills, and be comfortable working as part of a worldwide design and development team. The ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines is a must. A post-secondary degree from an accredited university or equivalent combination of skills and experience is required. Additional post-graduate training and/or industry certification is preferred.

Skills Required:
1. Strong Lotus Notes/Domino design and development skills, with Domino version 5, 6, 7, 8
2. Minimum of 5 years professional software development experience, working with Lotus Notes/Domino
3. Experience working with and supporting end users of Lotus Notes/Domino applications
4. Degree from accredited university or equivalent skills and experience
5. Web development experience, including JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, HTML, and CSS

Candidates with the following skills and experience will be given preference:
1. Object-oriented design and development
2. Experience with IBM Websphere Portal or other J2EE development experience
3. Application interface design
4. Understanding of general usability guidelines
5. Rapid application development (RAD)
6. XML, XSLT
